Consejo de Ministros
El Consejo de Ministros ha aprobado, a propuesta del Ministerio de Educación, un acuerdo que formaliza la distribución de 12 millones de euros para la adaptación de las instituciones universitarias al Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior.
Asimismo, este acuerdo ha aprobado los criterios de distribución entre las Comunidades Autónomas de esta financiación. Estos criterios se acordaron en la Conferencia General de Política Universitaria del pasado 2 de junio, en la que están representadas todas las comunidades y el Ministerio de Educación.
Entre esos criterios figuran el número de nuevos grados implantados de acuerdo a los requisitos del Plan Bolonia en el curso 2009-2010, así como otros referidos al número de estudiantes, el número de universidades en mismo ámbito geográfico o el número total de titulaciones oficiales.
En el periodo 2005-2009, el Gobierno de España ha aportado más de 51 millones de euros a este fin a los que hay que sumar una nueva partida de más de 12 millones prevista en el proyecto de Presupuesto Generales del Estado para 2010.
